Kiffin Apologizes To Columnist That Was Confronted By Raiders' Exec

Mercury News - Tim Kawakami, a longtime columnist of the San Jose Mercury News, was verbally confronted by Raiders' executive John Herrera during Lane Kiffin's Monday press conference.

Kawakami wrote a column based on a report that said Herrera gave a negative article about Kiffin published by ESPN to a beat writer for the Raiders and prompted other writers about the piece.

Herrera called Kawakami a liar when he asked Kiffin a question about the report and confronted him during the press conference.

On Tuesday, Kiffin called Kawakami to apologize for the confrontation. [READ]
