Seahawks Close To Landing Howell

The Tampa Tribune - The Seattle Seahawks are close to signing yet another player from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Seattle is believed to be closing in on an agreement with free agent safety John Howell.

Previously, Seattle signed free agent wide receiver Joe Jurevicius and tackle Chartric Darby. Howell would be the third player taken from the Bucs? lineup.

The Bucs are believed to have interest in re-signing Howell, but salary cap issues may prevent the two sides from reaching an agreement. [READ]
