Speeding Ticket Catches Up To Braylon
12th September, 2008 - 4:56 pm
ESPN - A speeding ticket, which Browns' receiver Braylon Edwards initially avoided, has caught up to him, according to Associated Press.

Edwards was stopped on Aug. 29 in Avon, Ohio, after police said he was driving 120 mph in his Bentley, but the officer let him slide without a ticket.

The receiver has since been served with the ticket, and the officer, whose name wasn't released, has been counseled about handling traffic stops.

"The officer let me off for good behavior," Edward said Friday. "Because of Channel 19 [WOIO], it got brought back up, got resurfaced and there it was. I got a ticket. But I'm not the first person to get a speeding ticket." [READ]
