Rivers Could Now Be Available

NY Daily News - By acquiring backup QB A.J. Feeley from the Dolphins, the Chargers apparently have decided to part next spring with Drew Brees (a free agent in '06) or backup Philip Rivers, a former No. 1 pick.

The Jets, deeply concerned about whether Pennington will rebound from his second shoulder surgery in eight months, will be in the quarterback market. They will take a hard look at the Chargers' situation, especially if Rivers is available. [READ]
