Panthers Tried To Re-Sign Peppers?

Charlotte Observer - The Panthers have reportedly tried to re-sign defensive end Julius Peppers but nothing, has been agreed upon, according to Charlotte Observer.

Peppers is in the final year of his contract.

"He's one of the greatest defensive players in the league today, and possibly, could be, all-time," teammate Damione Lewis, a defensive tackle, said of Peppers. [READ]
