Brady Plans To Play In Patriots' Opener
2nd September, 2008 - 5:19 pm
Boston Herald - Tom Brady has declared himself ready to start for the Patriots against the Chiefs this weekend, according to Boston Herald.

He has reportedly been battling issues with his right foot all offseason.

"If it’s up to me, there’s no question," Brady said. "But those questions aren’t always up to me. I’ve been getting progressively better over the last couple of weeks. I’m excited, excited to start the year."

New England held him out of all four of their preseason games.

"I felt like I could play all of them, and I practiced the entire preseason, pretty much," Brady continued. "The decision was made that, ‘OK, Tom, you’re not going to play,’ and I was fine with it." [READ]
