Moss Injures Groin In First Quarter

ESPN - Receiver Randy Moss injured his groin in Sunday's game against San Diego when he crashed hard to the ground after trying to make a leaping catch.

Moss was hurt late in the first quarter when Kerry Collins underthrew him on a deep pass. Moss leaped in between Bhawoh Jue and Sammy Davis before falling awkwardly to the ground. He was attended to by trainers and limped off the field.

After sitting out three plays, Moss returned to the field for LaMont Jordan's 4-yard touchdown run. He then sat out the rest of the opening half as trainers worked on stretching his legs. The Raiders said Moss' return was questionable. [READ]
