Lions Sign Drew Henson To Replace Stanton

The Detroit News - The Lions have signed quarterback Drew Henson to replace the injured Drew Stanton, according to The Detroit News.

Henson, who has not played in the NFL since the Minnesota Vikings cut him during their 2007 training camp, worked out Friday for the team.

Stanton's hand will likely be in a cast for four weeks before he is able to resume throwing, after he sprained a thumb on his throwing hand during practice on Thursday. [READ]
