Dallas Morning News - Texans wide receiver Harry Williams was carted off the field after suffering a fracture of the neck during Friday?s preseason game against the Cowboys, according to a Dallas Morning News Report.

Williams was hurt while attempting to tackle Isaiah Stanback on a kickoff just over two minutes into the contest. Williams collided with teammate Nick Ferguson and went down without moving.

He lay motionless on the turf for several minutes while being attended to by doctors. However, early reports after the game indicated the injury was not as severe as feared.

?He?s got movement throughout his body,? Coach Gary Kubiak said. ?All the feedback I?m getting is that Harry will be fine.?

Williams suffered a fracture of the C3 vertebra and was to undergo surgery at Presbyterian Hospital either Friday night or over the weekend. [READ]
