Ravens' Suggs To Report With $8.5M Deal

ESPN - Baltimore linebacker/defensive end Terrell Suggs plans to end his holdout over the weekend in anticipation of signing a $8.5 million franchise tender with the team, according to ESPN.com's John Clayton.

He has agreed to play this season for $8.5 million and won't ask for any condition in the deal that will prevent the Ravens from franchising him next season, when he'll become a free agent.

The Ravens and Suggs reached an agreement that allowed the franchise number to be the difference between the top-five number at defensive end and linebacker, which increased his tender to $8.5 million. [READ]
