Report: Favre Deal To Bucs Near Complete

The Star-Tribune - The Buccaneers are reportedly very close to a deal with the Packers that would bring the legendary quarterback Brett Favre to Tampa Bay, according to The Star-Tribune.

The Tampa Tribune originally reported on Tuesday night that the Buccaneers were very close to a deal to acquire Favre.

No deal has been finalized, as the teams have yet to agree on compensation. Sources claim that the Jets appear alive in the race to land Favre as well. [READ]
