Lions Rookie Predicts Playoff Victory

The Detroit News - Lions' rookie running back Kevin Smith predicted on Tuesday that the team will win their first playoff game in seventeen years this season, according to The Detroit News.

"One playoff win in 50 years?" Smith asked. "Wow. We will get to the playoffs this year. We will win a playoff game this year."

Smith also said that his goal is to win a Super Bowl within his first three years in the NFL "because I am about winning championships."

Detroit finished 7-9 last season, racing out to a 6-2 record before stumbling in the second half. [READ]
