Packers Say They Haven't Heard From Favre

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel - The Packers claim that they haven't heard from Brett Favre amidst reports that the quarterback wants to return to the field for an eighteenth season, according to The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

“No, all we really heard is rumors and speculation, the same thing that you’ve heard,” Green Bay CEO Mark Murphy said. “Officially, all we’ve heard from Brett is the retirement announcement in March.”

There have been reports that Favre feels unwelcome by General Manager Ted Thompson.

“I really think Ted is handling this situation very well,” Murphy said. “It’s very delicate, and he’s handled it well, very professionally.” [READ]
