Favre: 'It's All Rumor'

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel - Brett Favre has only made one comment since reports surfaced on Wednesday that he was considering a comeback just four months after retiring, according to The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

In a text message to a friend reporter Al Jones, Favre said three simple words - "It's all rumor."

On Wednesday afternoon, ESPN.com reported that Favre had the "itch" to report to training camp and play for an 18th NFL season.

A Green Bay spokesman had no comment on Wednesday.

Members of Favre's family have admitted that he is working out and feels welcomed by Packers' General Manager Ted Thompson.

"I think it's 50-50," Scott Favre said. "There's no doubt he can play. He's in good shape; he's working out we know he can still play he's healthy, so, if he did, it wouldn't surprise me." [READ]
