Ex-Marshall Star Goddard Dies In Motorcycle Wreck

ESPN - Former Marshall defensive end Johnathan Goddard died Sunday after a motorcycle accident in Florida, according to The Associated Press.

"This is a terrible loss for our football family, and our thoughts and prayers are with the Goddard family," Marshall Coach Mark Snyder said.

Goddard was selected by the Lions in the sixth round of the 2005 NFL draft. He later played briefly for the Colts and the AFL's Crush. [READ]
