Monday, December 03, 2001 - Among the questions veteran NBA guard Avery Johnson fielded after practice Sunday was one in which he was asked to assess the Denver Nuggets' frame of mind on the road last season.

Tue. at Indiana, 5 p.m. 10-10

Wed. at Boston, 5 p.m. 9-6

Fri. at Toronto, 5 p.m. 11-7

Sat. at Cleve., 5:30 p.m. 6-11 "Just show up and hope that something good happens," Johnson said sternly, as he walked off the court.

Johnson's statement definitely has merit. The Nuggets won only 12 road games in 41 tries last season and were outscored by an average of 102.9-94.5.
