40,000 Tix For London Game Sell In 90 Minutes

ESPN - The first 40,000 tickets for the Saints and Chargers game at Wembley Stadium were sold in 90 minutes on Thursday, according to The Associated Press.

The second-annual overseas game will be Oct. 26,and count as a home game for the Saints.

"We are delighted to report the overwhelming interest in this year's game," Alistair Kirkwood, managing director of NFL UK, said. "This proves that our event is one of the most eagerly awaited on the British sports calendar."

Because of the demand, 5,000 additional tickets were released immediately. [READ]
