Taylor On Training Camp: 'Deal With That When I Get There'
29th May, 2008 - 10:48 am
The South Florida Sun-Sentinel - Dolphins' defensive end Jason Taylor doesn't sound like he's going to skip training camp as Coach Tony Sparano suggested last week, according to The South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

"I'm under contract with the Dolphins. So again, I'm looking forward to playing some golf," Taylor said Wednesday. "Football doesn't start until July and training camp, so I'll be all right. I've been in L.A. and so far removed from it. Like I said, I'll deal with that when I get there."

If Taylor misses the first mandatory veterans minicamp as expected, he would be subject to fines. Taylor's representatives expected to meet with the Dolphins; however, the Dolphins canceled the meeting. "We'll work with football here in the near future," Taylor said.

"I know that Jason will not be at any minicamps," Sparano said last week. "I know that right now Jason is not going to be at training camp." [READ]
