Vikings Waive DE James After Troubled, Injury-Riddled Career

ESPN - The Minnesota Vikings have waived troubled defensive end Erasmus James, a former first-round pick, according to The Associated Press.

He was one of the top-rated pass-rushers in 2005, but a series of knee injuries derailed his career.

"We decided to waive Erasmus, and we wish the best for him in the future," Coach Brad Childress said in a statement issued by the team. [READ]
