| 6th May, 2008 - 11:30 am |  The Times-Picayune - Free-agent running back Shaun Alexander is set to visit with the Saints after he met with the Bengals on Monday, according to The Times-Picayune.
New Orleans might be looking to add Alexander as insurance should Deuce McAllister not return to form following yet another season-ending injury.
"I anticipate they'll continue to look at veteran running backs," McAllister said. "They have to have some protection just in case there are any setbacks with my rehab, even though there haven't been any. It never hurts to have a Plan B." [READ] |
