CT Boy Retires Favre Jersey After 1,581 Days

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel - David Witthoft wore something other than his favorite Brett Favre jersey for the first time in over four years in late April, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

The 12-year-old Ridgefield, Conn. boy received the jersey for Christmas back in 2003 and has worn it every day since.

The boy's father said he removed the jersey on April 23, his 12th birthday. He became concerned with his appearance as the jersey had grown too small for his growing body. [READ]
