Pats' Hobbs Has Second Surgery

The Boston Globe - New England cornerback Ellis Hobbs underwent a second surgery this offseason in March, according to the Boston Globe.

Hobbs has surgery on his shoulder in February, and now it has been confirmed that he had a procedure to repair a sports hernia in March.

He is expected to be ready for the team's training camp in July.

In the event that Hobbs isn't able to recover from either surgery, the Patriots have added depth at corner with Fernando Bryant, Jason Webster and Lewis Saunders. [READ]
