UCLA's Cowan Out For 2008 Season; Olson To Miss 6-8 Weeks

espn.com - Coming into the season, new UCLA Coach Rick Neuheisel had a decision about who will be his starting QB in 2008 with Patrick Cowan and Ben Olson as the top candidates, as reported by ESPN.com.

While not the way Neuheisel had planned, that decision was made easier after he found out Cowan will undergo surgery on the ACL in his left knee and will miss the entire season, according to L.A.-area media reports. [READ]
