Miami: Henne Could Start As Rookie

NFL.com - The Dolphins claim that second-round pick Chad Henne could start at quarterback for the team this season, according to NFL.com.

"That's up to him," general manager Jeff Ireland said of Henne starting. "It's going to bring some competition to the position. It's going to be a good battle."

He will compete with John Beck, a second-round pick in 2007, and recently-acquired veteran Josh McCown.

"I don't know if I'll have the opportunity to step in right now," Henne said. "But I'll prepare like I'm going to compete for the starting job." [READ]
