Pacman To Dallas Deal Almost Official
27th April, 2008 - 10:18 am
The Dallas Morning News - The trade between the Cowboys and Titans that will land cornerback Pacman Jones in the Lone Star State is nearly official, according to the Dallas Morning News.

On Saturday the two teams completed the deal, which sent a fourth-round pick to Tennessee for Jones. The Titans will also receive a sixth-rounder in 2009 if the cornerback stays out of trouble next season.

Jones agreed to a new contract on Saturday, one of the things that was keeping the deal from becoming official. In addition, if the NFL doesn't re-instate Jones this season, the Titans will give the Cowboys a fourth-round pick next year.

The league has yet to approve the deal, but the two teams anticipate that they will as the second day of the draft kicks off Sunday. [READ]
