Troy Brown Returns For 13th Season In New England
22nd May, 2005 - 12:31 am
ESPN - Veteran wide receiver Troy Brown, who also played on the defensive side last season, is returning to the Patrios for a 13th season.

Brown has reached agreement, ESPN.com has learned, on a one-year contract. Financial details were not immediately available but the contract, which will be officially signed next week, is believed to be worth more than the league minimum.

"I haven't been around a better leader in 30 years in the NFL than Troy Brown," said Bill Belichick. "And he would never stand up in front of a room and [deliver] a speech. It's just not what he does. But he always comes in prepared and ready to help the team. Whatever I ask him to do, he does. Play defensive back. Return punts. Whatever. He'll do it for the good of the team, and that's a great leader." [READ]
