| 7th April, 2008 - 5:01 pm |  The Boston Globe - Wes Welker claims that he doesn't feel any added pressure heading into his second season with the Patriots, according to the Boston Globe.
"I don't feel any added pressure. It's just going out there and doing my job and making sure I'm coming through for those guys," said Welker.
Welker tallied 1,175 receiving yards and eight touchdowns on 112 catches for New England last season, after signing a deal last offseason.
"I could care less how many catches it is [this season]. It really doesn't matter," said Welker. "It's about improving and getting better and helping the offense move down the field, and if that means catching 112 catches, that is what it means. If it means blocking and running the ball 40 times a game, then that is what it needs to be." [READ] |
