NFL Approves Use Of Defensive Helmet Radios

ESPN - The NFL's competition committee has decided to allow defensive players to wear radios in their helmets next season, according to ESPN.com's John Clayton.

Two defensive players will be allowed to have radios in their helmets, but only one can take the playing field at a time.

"We want to safeguard against a situation with two players on the field at the same time with the helmet communication," said competition committee co-chairman Rich McKay. [READ]
