Ankle Surgery Slows New England's Watson

The Boston Herald - Patriots' tight end Benjamin Watson underwent left ankle surgery a few weeks ago, according to a report in the Boston Herald.

The procedure revealed both cartilage damage and scar tissue. Both Watson and the Patriots refused to comment on the surgery.

"I can’t talk about it," Watson said. "You’ll have to ask Coach (Bill) Belichick." [READ]
