ESPN - Broncos' receiver Brandon Marshall could miss up to four months of the offseason after slicing his arm in a freak accident, according to the Associated Press.

Denver made their first comments about Marshall's incident, which occurred when he slipped on a McDonald's bag over the weekend on Tuesday. He was horsing around with family members when he stepped on the piece of trash.

Team athletic trainer Steve Antonopulos said that Marshall "sustained right forearm lacerations to one artery, one vein, one nerve, two tendons, and three muscles."

"All have been repaired, and his right forearm and elbow will be immobilized for six weeks," Antonopulos added. "Rehabilitation will begin in six weeks. Full recovery is expected to take three to four months." [READ]
