Panthers Sign Free Safety Holt

The Times-News Online - The Panthers have agreed to terms with free-agent free safety Terrence Holt, according to The Times-News.

"He'll have an opportunity to compete for a starting job. I think he's certainly capable," said Holt's agent. "They're not promising anything, but it's an opportunity."

"Terrence is a very smart, talented player who brings experience to our safety position," General Manager Marty Hurney said. "We've liked him since he came out of college and feel very fortunate to add him to our roster." [READ]
