Vikings Add RB Maurice Hicks

Minneapolis Star-Tribune - Former 49ers' running back Maurice Hicks has agreed to a three-year deal with the Vikings, according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.

He canceled trips to Houston and Tennessee once Minnesota extended him an offer.

"I was kind of shocked that the Vikings had interest in me," Hicks said Tuesday. "They have two great backs already in Adrian and Chester. I wanted to know, and my agent wanted to know, what could be their interest? But now I see the reason, and I see myself fitting into this offense very well." [READ]
