Roethlisberger Signs Extension

ESPN - Ben Roethlisberger has agreed to terms on a new eight-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers that will pay him $102 million, according to ESPN.com's Michael Smith.

The deal includes $36 million in guarantees and is the largest of its kind in franchise history.

Roethlisberger joins the $100 million club with fellow quarterbacks Peyton Manning, Donovan McNabb, Brett Favre, Carson Palmer and Michael Vick. [READ]
