| 19th February, 2008 - 10:02 am |  ESPN - The Baltimore Ravens placed the franchise tag on linebacker Terrell Suggs on Tuesday, according to ESPN's John Clayton.
The confusion begins with where the Ravens have decided to place the tag on Suggs. Baltimore lists him as a linebacker which would give him a one-year deal worth $8.06 million under franchise tag rules.
However, Suggs insists he should be considered a defensive end which would increase his pay for the 2008 season to $8.8 million. [READ] |
