 ESPN - Dom Capers has declined an offer to join the staff of the Dallas Cowboys as a defensive coordinator, according to ESPN.com.
"I have a lot of respect for Jason [Garrett], as I do for Wade [Phillips]," Capers said, according to The Dallas Morning News. "They're two good coaches, and they will do well together. This was a good opportunity, but I decided not to do anything."
