Indianapolis To Make Bid For 2012 Super Bowl

NFL.com - A group from Indianapolis is traveling to Arizona this week, with intentions of making a bid for the Super Bowl in 2012, according to the Associated Press.

The city lost to Dallas in their bid for the 2011 game last year.

"Indianapolis is a great football city and, frankly, it deserves a Super Bowl," city Mayor Greg Ballard told the AP. "They're going to send it back to a cold-weather city on occasion, and this is our time." [READ]
