Titans' FS Hope Has Surgery To Repair Neck Injury

ESPN - Tennessee Titans starting free safety Chris Hope, who missed five games in 2007 and finished the season on injured reserve, has undergone neck surgery to address the spinal cord injury that knocked him out of action.

It is not yet known if or when Hope will be able to participate in the Titans' offseason program which begins in March. The club remains optimistic that Hope will be able to play in 2008.

"He'll be 100 percent," agent Terry Williams told The [Nashville] Tennessean. "It was the best move for him. He'll be back and ready to go when opening day comes." [READ]
