Falcons' CB Kevin Mathis Out For Season

AP - Atlanta Falcons cornerback Kevin Mathis is out for the season after tearing up his left knee in practice.

Mathis, a nine year-veteran, is 31 and faces a long rehabilitation, raising the possibility his career could be over.

He went down on a routine drill Wednesday, two days after he was ejected from the season opener against Philadelphia before the game even started. [READ]
