New York -- Call it the evolution of the Warriors. Their best and most expensive player would have been better off staying at the hotel, but they still had the goods to roll to another road victory.

The Warriors last night throttled the New York Knicks to the tune of 90-71 at Madison Square Garden. Despite forward Antawn Jamison's awful shooting -- 2- for-13 from the floor for a grand total of four points -- the Warriors took the lead midway through the first quarter and never handed it back.
