Another win. Another 110 points. Another 11 3-pointers.

Is it time for NBC to wipe Michael Jordan off its schedule? Are the Spurs ready to supplant Sacramento as America's run-it-up, freewheeling, made-for-TV heroes?

Are the Spurs — those same grind-it-out, dump-it-in, ratings-killing Spurs — ready to actually say they can outscore opponents?

"I don't know if we're ever going to say that," said Terry Porter, smiling after the Spurs routed injury-decimated Atlanta 110-88 Saturday night at the Alamodome. "This may just be an early burst of offense.

"When it comes down to it, we might get back to our old ways. We're going to rely on what the Spurs have always relied on: their defense."

The Spurs played some of that, too, holding just their second opponent of the season under 90 points. But after needing a sundial instead of a shot clock the past four seasons, the bigger news is they cracked the 100-point mark for the sixth time in seven games this season.
