Report: SMU Makes Lucrative Offer To June Jones

ESPN - SMU has extended an offer to Hawaii's Junes Jones to be its next football coach, The Dallas Morning News reported Friday.

SMU has offered Jones, who led Hawaii to a 12-1 mark this season, between $1.7 million and $2 million, two sources told the Morning News.

Although Jones' contract expires after this year, Hawaii has yet to make a contract offer to the coach, who just completed his ninth season with the Warriors. [READ]
