Michael Jordan missed seven straight shots in the first half, had a brief flurry late in the third quarter and played on a near-empty tank in the fourth, scoring 32 points in 38 minutes as the Washington Wizards lost 109-100 to the visiting Golden State Warriors on Friday.

Jordan made just 13 of 30 shots and was victimized by Antawn Jamison's moves to the paint. Jamison scored 26 points on 10-for-17 shooting, and Larry Hughes also had 26 points to lead the Warriors.

''I don't think we're playing as a team,'' said Jordan, who took 20 more field-goal attempts than any of his teammates and had three assists. ''We're playing as 12 individuals.''

Golden State's Danny Fortson added 16 points and 16 rebounds. Richard Hamilton added 16 points for the Wizards, who have lost three straight.

A jawing match with Golden State's Bob Sura got Jordan re-energized early in the fourth, but Jordan couldn't take advantage of the matchup and missed another shot the next time the two were matched up. Jordan left for good with 3:43 to play and the Wizards trailing 106-89.

Jamison also proved more than a match for Jordan, gaining confidence as the game progressed. During one sequence, Jamison left Jordan flat-footed and drove to the basket for the layup--then Jordan tried to match the shot at the other end and missed a layup badly.
