Owens Will Miss Cowboys-Redskins' Battle

Express-News - Terrell Owens is out.

Beyond offering that bit of information, Wade Phillips wasn't particularly forthcoming when asked Monday about the Dallas Cowboys' personnel plans for the regular-season finale at Washington.

"We haven't finalized everything as far as who is playing," Phillips told reporters in Irving. "We want to see who is healthy; see who is ready to go. But we are going to approach it like we want to win the game. That's how you play football."

Sunday's game is meaningless for the Cowboys (13-2) because they locked up home-field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs with Chicago's upset of Green Bay. Dallas has a first-round bye and won't play again until the divisional round Jan. 12 or 13. [READ]
