Owens To Auction NFC Championship Ring

ESPN - Terrell Owens will auction off his NFC Championship ring to help raise money for Hurricane Katrina victims, according to the All-Pro wide receiver's Web site.

"I'm sure each one of you share my horror and disbelief over devastation along the Gulf Coast in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina," Owens said in a statement. "I urge each one of you to place a bid, as much as you can afford for this worthwhile cause."

Owens has tussled with Philadelphia Eagles management and teammates ever since the Eagles lost to the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl. The Eagles receiver demanded a new contract just one season into the seven-year, $48.97 million deal he signed when he came to Philadelphia in March 2004. [READ]
