Romo's Thumb OK, X-Rays Negative

Yahoo.com - Cowboys owner and GM Jerry Jones can let out a huge sigh of relief. Tony Romo's thumb is OK.

X-Rays on Romo's injured right thumb came back negative, the team announced on Monday, and the Pro Bowl quarterback is expected to play Saturday vs. Carolina despite a contusion.

Romo was uncharacteristically wild in Sunday's loss to Philadelphia. He suffered the injury when he banged his hand on a helmet midway through the contest. [READ]
