McNabb Denies FOX Report

Star-Ledger - Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb denied telling FOX sideline reporter Pam Oliver "point-blank" that "my knee is not an issue" and "the next place I go I will win."

Oliver spoke with McNabb Saturday night and prefaced her comments during yesterday's 10-6 upset of the NFC East Champion Dallas Cowboys at Texas Stadium by saying the impression she received from the embattled nine-year veteran was that he is disappointed by what he feels is the organization's attempt to distance itself from him, while lending too much credibility to public criticism.

"I am denying I said it. Make sure you get it right," McNabb said after helping the Eagles (6-8) snap a three-game losing streak and keep the team's slim playoff hopes alive.

"If I'm here, or wherever it might me, I'm going to give all that I have and I did that today. I'm going to continue to do that. You hear things and you get tired of answering questions, but I stand up here like a professional and I do it."

Team president Joe Banner recently told WIP 610 AM that, "I can't envision a situation in which (McNabb) is not our quarterback next year. My expectation -- and I can't even picture a different scenario -- is that he'll be our quarterback next year." [READ]
