Report: Ravens' Billick Will Return In 2008

Yahoo.com - The Ravens' woeful season will not cost Brian Billick his job.

Billick will return for a 10th season with the Ravens in 2008, according to a report in the Baltimore Sun on Wednesday.

With the team sitting at 4-9 and in the midst of a franchise-record seven-game losing streak, speculation has been that Billick's tenure is about to end in Baltimore.

But the Sun, citing a source with intimate knowledge of the Ravens' decision-making, said Billick has been told by owner Steve Bisciotti that his job is safe for next season. [READ]
