Favre Injures Ankle, Won?t Miss Opener

The Journal Sentinel - Packers quarterback Brett Favre has a 225 consecutive games started NFL record to maintain and after recently injuring his right ankle, it does not seem serious enough to end his incredible record.

"He's fine," said Packers coach Mike Sherman. "I was planning on resting him today anyway. With the ankle being slightly sprained the other day anyway it gave me another reason to (rest him). He'll be fine." [READ]
