Knee Injury To Keep Browns' NT Smith Out
18th November, 2007 - 10:45 am
ESPN - Cleveland nose tackle Shaun Smith will not play in Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens because of a knee injury.

Smith was injured during practice Thursday, the team said.

The Browns' defensive front seven is already banged up as linebackers D'Qwell Jackson (ankle), Willie McGinest (hamstring) and Antwan Peek (knee) were limited in their workouts this week.

Smith will likely be replaced in the starting lineup by Orpheus Roye. The Browns will activate rookie Louis Leonard, who was claimed off waivers from St. Louis on Oct. 8. Leonard would be backup nose tackle so Ethan Kelley can get time at end. [READ]
