Big Ten Fines Illinois, Ohio State For Fight

Chicago Tribune - The Big Ten fined Illinois and Ohio State $10,000 each Thursday and reprimanded their head coaches for a shoving match involving players after last Saturday's game.

Players from both teams shoved each other, and at least a couple threw punches as they met at midfield of Ohio Stadium following the 28-21 Illini win.

An Illinois' spokeswoman declined comment. Head Coach Ron Zook said earlier this week that he didn't see the incident but planned watch video to see what happened. [READ]
